Through endurance, and through the encouragement of the Scriptures, we might have hope. May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, that together we may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 15:4b-6

Christmas Buffet Pictures and UPS information

Here are a few pictures from the evening we had December 2nd. I want to thank all of those who came out to learn more about CFC. We appreciated all the encouragement, food donations, and those who donated time to help make the wreaths. I do wish I would have had more time to talk with each of you. The evening raised $4900, which will cover our tickets! We did get our tickets, flying out of JFK on February 4th at 5:00 PM, landing in Accra on the 5th at 8:00 AM.
Also, those of you who would like to send us items while we are over there can go to the UPS store in the Cloister Shopping Center. Richard Shutt will make it easy to get all the details squared away, so if you want to send something and can't send it with someone traveling over, please ask for him. The phone number is (717) 733-1482.
Please continue to pray for us as we move forward. We are listing our house for either sale or rent, so if you know anyone looking, please let me know! God bless you all,
Jon

Ghana Trip, October 2010

It was an honor to be able to travel to Ghana and see in person what God has been doing through Crusades For Christ International. I wanted to post a few pictures that detail some of the important things I saw. The first picture here is of Pastor Isaac, a very good friend even though I only met him. He has an amazing testimony that I hope you can all hear someday. The second picture is of Field Director Ron Bontrager and his wife Audrey and their family. I was able to have some long talks with Ron regarding details, and I really appreciate him and the wisdom he shared. The last picture is of the Bible Institute, as we completed the rafters on the last day we were there. The school should be open in January, with other classrooms being added as they are be built. All the construction is with concrete, due to the termites, so this makes building an extremly slow process. It was so good to come home to see the family after 2 weeks. I am excited to see how we can fit into this ministry, and how God has been moving in Ghana. God bless,
Jon

Prayer Partners

Hello, and thanks so much for praying for us during this time. If you want to be part of our prayer team, please email your address to ghanaupdates@gmail.com. We will divide up all the addresses into 12 groups, and each month one group will receive specific, detailed prayer requests for that month. At the end of the month, we will email those participants and give an update on how God has responded to their prayers. We will also include a list in a quarterly newsletter you may receive by mail or email.
We really need you to surround us in prayer, specifcally now related to moving and all those details, and to the trip in October (11-23) where I will be ministering through preaching the Word and meeting medical needs.
Pray for the ability to communicate clearly, that souls would be saved, for our group stay healthy, and that as a group we would experience unity. Blessings, Jon
